What does it mean to build a legacy? For our founder, Paul Richardson, it meant using the knowledge he gained through his experience in the insurance industry to start a business that would make a positive impact in his community.
"He was one of those people who just seemed to be born a leader," says Phil Oberg, Principal/Agent. "And he cared about building an agency that had integrity, one that was about helping people."
Paul opened the Paul Richardson Agency in 1981 and quickly gained a reputation for being a trustworthy businessman. His clients appreciated his honest advice and also that they seemed to matter to him as much as their business did.
"We have people who stop by the office just to say hello, or to introduce their children or grandchildren to us," says Jill Richardson, Office Manager/Agent. "We have real relationships with our clients, we know about their lives and we care about them as people," she says. "That's not something you find everywhere, but it's how we operate and it all started with Paul."
The truth is that anyone can sell you insurance, but not everyone cares enough to find out which policy is best for you.
At the Paul Richardson Agency, you won't have to face the attitude of apathy that is so pervasive in the world of insurance today. That's because our founder started a company culture that is still centered around helping people. So when you call us, you won't get an automated phone tree that takes forever to navigate, and you won't have to deal with talking to a stranger every time you call. We are nestled right in the heart of downtown Walla Walla, Washington.
When you need help with a claim or have questions about your insurance, you need a friendly expert to help. We know our clients personally and we can help to make sure that you are covered for whatever life throws your way. That's the legacy that Paul Richardson started, and though he is no longer with us, we are carrying that legacy forward by putting you, our clients first.
